For some, the role of faculty unions can be viewed with debate. Higher Ed Jobs recently explored the early history of faculty unions to their place in today's higher education community. Do they help or hurt faculty? Can faculty be viewed as management? The Web site spoke to expert Timothy Reese Cain, assistant professor in EPOL.
