The departments of Curriculum & Instruction and Special Education are co-sponsoring a Nov. 9 talk by Dr. Kathleen Gallagher that will center on the meaning of early childhood education and how to make it transformative. Gallagher will highlight how communities and higher-education institutions can take the lead in educating and supporting early childhood professionals who play a critical role in providing important early care for children and education programs.
