Chancellor Michael Aiken to to be Awarded at 2019 Convocation

Michael T. Aiken, who served as the sixth chancellor of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1993-2001, will be awarded an honorary PhD this spring. Dr. Aiken’s visionary leadership laid a foundation for transparent strategic planning, robust philanthropic support, experiential learning for students, and support for translational research as an engine of economic development.
