The Center for Children's Books will host its 2020 Gryphon Lecture on Thursday, November 12 at 4:30 pm. Associate Professor Sarah Park Dahlen of St. Catherine University will speak about the travel writer and journalist Frances Carpenter and her influence on Asian American Youth Literature (see the attached abstract to learn more).
