Research released by the Office of Community College Research and Leadership (OCCRL), a research group focused on policies, programs, and practices around P-20 preparation, transition, and completion, suggests more than 27,000 transfer students would have been potentially eligible for an associate’s degree even though they had already matriculated to a bachelor’s program had “reverse transfer” policies and practices been operating in the states studied.
